It’s a chance for coaches to evaulate rookies and free agents.

It’s also a chance for fans to see their teams for the first time since last January.

While these don’t count, it’s also a chance to work on those tailgating skills.

Even though it’s preseason, are you ready for some football?

The NFL announced Wednesday that they have finalized its 65-game 2018 preseason schedule, which includes a slate of eight nationally-televised games. Start times will be announced later and the 2018 regular season schedule will come out after the draft.

The 2018 preseason will kick off on Thursday, August 2 on NBC at 8 p.m. in Canton, Ohio when Chicago faces off against  Baltimore in the NFL/Hall of Fame Game. NFL Network will also provide extensive coverage of the NFL preseason, including live or re-aired broadcasts of all 65 games.
