The Super Bowl is a big deal.

The final game of the 2015 season involving two clubs.

Denver vs. Carolina.

It’s for all the marbles.

All the work in the off-season, OTAs, sweating through training camp, fighting rookies and free agents that want your job.

Sleeping in college dorms for the first time since you were in college.

Coaches and meetings.

It will be all worth it in a few hours.

The world and friends will be watching, putting every move you make and every word you utter under scrutiny. All will be worth it if you win. If you lose, you’ll be picked apart like a Thanksgiving turkey. Plan and speak CAREFULLY.

In the past few days, you will have more microphones in your face than Taylor Swift. You’ve been asked the same question over and over again. Play nice with the media. It’s their job. They have families to feed, too. Even if you have no comment, at least mind your manners. Remember that you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Sunday will be your moment to be either the hero and get the chance to say “I’m going to Disney World!” with a camera in your face or be the goat that will have so much blame heaped on you Bartman will look like a saint. Play nice. Do your job. There’s light at the end of the tunnel.

All the marbles.

All that work you did over the summer and off-season is about to pay off.

Do your job.
